"...Where you don't have to be a gymnast to benefit from gymnastics..."

Q. How do I enroll?
A. Call or email us to see where we have openings. We have ongoing enrollment, so even if we are mid-session, we can get you in if we have openings. ONCE YOU ARE ENROLLED, YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED THROUGH THE END OF SESSION 5. TO UN-ENROLL YOU NEED TO TELL US BY OUR DEADLINES ALL WHICH ARE LISTED IN THIS PARENT HANDOUT.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Cash or check

Q. My friend gave me written permission to take her daughter to Open Gym. Will a note from mom work in place of a release form?
A. NO. All children must have a Kingdom Gymnastics release form signed by his or her parent or legal guardian. Once the form is on file, we don't need another one until after Sept 1, so then you or anyone could carpool without having to worry about that form. Initially, we MUST have that form signed by a parent or the child will not be able to participate in gymnastics. This goes for classes, school programs, birthday parties, Open Gym, or any other function at Kingdom Gymnastics.

Q. What is Open Gym?
A. A time for children to come play! You do not need to be a student at Kingdom Gymnastics to participate. (Please read our policy about release forms above.) We offer a 1-hour daytime Open Gym on Tuesdays from Session 1 through Session 5 from 10-11am for $5 and a 1.5-hour Open Gym on Fridays from 6:30-8pm for $10 or $6 IF you are currently enrolled. Our Open Gym safety rules can be found HERE. Summer schedule is different... we post that by May every year.

Q. I missed a class. Do you offer a make-up class?
A. Our make-up policy can also be found in our release form and our parent handout. If you miss a class, you can come to Open Gym for free anytime before the end of the following session after the class is missed. If you miss a class during Session 2, you have until the end of Session 3 to make it up. (Session dates can be found in the parent handout.)

Q. Can my daughter come to Open Gym for free in place of my son who missed a class?
A. No, our free passes to Open Gym are not transferable to siblings or friends, just for the student who missed a class.

Q. How long is a session of classes?
A. All sessions are 8 weeks long. Our regular program year (Sept-June) is made up of 5 8-week sessions. Our session dates and other policies can be found HERE.

Q. Can I pay for one class and see if my child likes it before I pay for the whole session?
A. There is a gray area here. Short answer: no. Gray area: IF the class has several openings, we would allow you to try a class and make a decision right off as to whether or not you want to finish out the rest of the session. You must pay for that trial class either way. You can not pay by the class, but can pay for one trial class if there is availability. If the class you want is FULL, we call on our waiting list once we get an opening, so get on that waiting list as soon as you can.

Q. What should my child wear?
A. Higher levels (pre-team and team) are required to wear leotards for practice. They may wear leggings or spandex shorts with this, but for safety reasons there is little wiggle room here. Any other class (Tumble Tots+) can wear regular gym attire: t-shirt or tank as long as it's fitted and not baggy, and shorts/sweat pants/leggings for the bottom half. MUST have bare feet, MUST have long hair tied back, MUST remove all jewelry. NO GUM.

Q. Can I leave my child in the gym during practice?
A. Tumble Tots / Kindergym: NO. Beginners+ you need to wait with them until class begins and then you must be there when class ends. NO STUDENT is allowed to leave and meet a parent in the parking lot or anywhere outside the gym. The adult in charge of taking that student home MUST come in to get the student.

Q. How do weather cancellations work?
A. We try NOT to close. If we close, we will post on Facebook to make the announcement. If you do not have a way to check our Facebook page, CALL (802) 748-7898 to confirm that we are open, if there is any questionable weather happening. If WE close, we will offer you a make up. If we are open and you choose not to come, then our normal make up policy applies which is you can come to an Open Gym for free within the current session or the following 8 week session.
